The Pender Harbour Blues Society is very excited to be presenting their 10th Annual Pender Harbour Blues Festival. Slated to be a re- union celebration, with the return of some of the fabulous Musicians that have performed at our past Festivals.
2013 Maple Blues Award winner, Steve Kozak, will be kicking the Festival off at the Garden Bay Pub.
Legendary Bluesman & Juno Award recipient, Jim Byrnes will be making two appearances; at the Garden Bay Pub and the Sunday Gospel Show, at the Pender Harbour School of Music. Jim will be joined by Emmy Nominated Composer & three time Canadian Music Award recipient, John Lee Sanders.
Be sure to take in the Dinner Shows on Friday & Saturday nights. At The Garden Bay Pub, Dining Room, enjoy 2013 Maple Award winner for Best Piano Player, David Vest.
The Painted Boat Restaurant will host, founding member of the Powder Blues Band, the ever popular, and Master of the Keyboards, Willie MacCalder.
Vancouver’s Best Party Band, Brickhouse, will be rockin the Dance at the Pender Harbour Community Hall.
Everyone’s favourite is the Sunday All Star Jam hosted by Tim Hearsey.
Closing the Festival at the Garden Bay Pub, a spectacular Piano-rama Show hosted by three super talented keyboard players, David Vest, John Lee Sanders and Willie MacCalder.
There will be free shows on Sat afternoon. The Blues Stage in Madeira Park will showcase some of the Coast’s most talented local Musicians including, Steve Hinton, Dr Fun & Mark Vance, also special guest, Steve Kozak. See Joe Stanton & Simon Paradis on the Acoustic Stage at John Henry’s Marina and Dustin Fike at the Crossroads Grill.
All venues are located around scenic Pender Harbour and are easily accessible by boat.
