Terminal-Station

Terminal Station is a Blues-Rock band in the best sense of the word. They take the traditional blues sound and kick it into high gear. Their music is raw and exciting – full of fat bass lines, explosive drumming, risk taking solos and impassioned vocals.

The members of Terminal Station, Scott Smith (vocals, guitar), Jeremy Holmes (bass), Darryl Havers (keys) and Liam MacDonald (drums) have been key players in Vancouver’s blues and roots scene for more than two decades. As sidemen, they have played with such Vancouver artists as Barney Bentall, Steve Dawson, Rich Hope, Ridley Bent, Buckman Coe and Jim Byrnes, as well as American artists such as John Hammond, Alvin Youngblood Hart, David Hidalgo, Bo Diddley and Doug Sahm.

Over the last few years, Terminal Station has played hundreds of shows and earned a reputation as a must see live act. Their third album “Brotherhood” was recorded live in the studio and mixes traditional blues sounds with Allman Brothers style rock, Booker T funk, New Orleans rhumba, and North Mississippi garage blues. Special guests on the album include Australian harmonica ace Victor Polyik, Dominic Conway on sax, John Sponarski on guitar and Colleen Rennison on harmony vocals.
